Happy April! Around here April means: longer days, sunshine, and Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day! WPPD falls on the last Sunday of the month, and this year that is April 29th. We're super-duper excited to be hosting another workshop,and we're hoping you can attend!

If you've ever been to one of our Pinhole Day events before, you know how awesome it can be: we all make cameras together, walk around shooting pinhole photos in the sunshine, then develop them in the Looking Glass darkroom! After that they get loaded up to the WPPD website.

You can bring your own camera, and/or you can make a new pinhole camera here with us - we do ask that you bring your own light-tight container to convert into a camera, but we will equip you with tape and drills, brass shim (for pinholes), paint, photo paper and chemistry, and all the other paraphernalia you could possibly need to create a pinhole camera and a photo on the spot, as well as personalized instruction every step of the way. All for only $10 for adults and $5 for kids 12 and under.

The workshop and celebration will run on Sunday, April 29th from 11am-4pm. And even though we will be here all day to help you, you can show up anytime during this 5 hour window and participate for as long (or as short) as you want. We do recommend giving yourself at least an hour to build a camera and create an image.
